Website Privacy Notice

Applies to this website. Crinkle the app has its own policies, shown in the app.

The short version

This website collects nothing. It sets no cookies, runs no JavaScript, loads no resources from any other company, and has no analytics of any kind. There is no form to fill in and no account to create. Nothing you do here is recorded against you, because there is no mechanism here that could record it.

What reaches our servers

Serving a page requires our web server to receive the request, so it necessarily sees the address it came from for as long as it takes to answer. Our reverse proxy is configured without an access log and our application servers do not record the IP address a request came from, so that address is not written down.

Fonts and other resources

Every file this site loads — stylesheet, typefaces, the logo — is served from crinkleapp.com. We do not use Google Fonts or any other content delivery network, so visiting this site does not tell a third party that you did.

If you email us

Mail sent to the addresses on our contact page reaches a mailbox we operate, and we keep it for as long as it takes to deal with what you wrote about. We do not add correspondents to a mailing list and there is no mailing list to add anyone to.

Our apps are covered separately

This notice describes this website only. Crinkle, the iOS application we are building, has its own Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, shown in the app itself. They will be published here when the app is released.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights of access, correction or erasure over personal information a company holds about you. If you believe we hold anything about you, write to privacy@crinkleapp.com and we will tell you what we have, which for a visitor to this website is expected to be nothing at all.

Changes

If this notice changes materially, the revised version will appear here with a new date.

Who we are

The data controller is Crinkle, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Our servers are in Germany and our encrypted backups are held separately in Finland.
